A legitimate division 1A prospect, A.J. was elected team
captain, and is one of the Patriots' top
prospects for 2007-08. He started at the SS position on
defense, and was also a big contributor on offense at both the RB and Slot Receiver/H-back
positions. He is
3rd in his class academically, and has scored 1200 (combined reading & math) on the SAT.
He was selected to the pre-season academic All-state
roster. A.J.
was one of the leading tacklers on the Patriot defense in both
2007 and 2006. He developed a reputation as a big hitter and a
play-maker. In his sophomore season, A.J. saw
significant varsity playing time at RB, CB
and OLB. He was named 2nd team All-District for 2005, and
will be a strong candidate for all-district honors in 2007..
He has legitimate 1A ability and his academic achievement also
makes him an excellent prospect for academically selective
